Dr Piker has been my doctor for many years. He listens, takes time to explain and he really cares. He has been my favorite doctor through my whole process. I'm saddened to hear he is no longer w/ UW VMC. I truly wish him the best. He knows me better than most doctors. He was the one that helped me most, a lot more than the rest. He is very well skilled and knowledge in many areas.
Dr. Piker literally gave me my life back after years of spending the majority of the month in bed due to severe migraines and nerve pains. He always took the time to listen, and would remember little things from one visit to another, making you feel important as a person and worth listening to. Unfortunately his replacement at Valley Neuroscience institute talks over you, has quite poor bedside manners, and is quite rough with his injections.
I was searching for neurologist near kent was , as have moved here because of my new job. Called this clinic and I was shocked to hear the receptionist talking to me as if am asking her for a new kidneys or heart transplant . It's unbelievable the way she talked to me as if i didn't know what am looking for, she was pure evil and horrible people. MN just terrible experience. Am thankful i didn't go farther than that horror phone call
Valley medical lost a great physician since Dr Piker is no longer there. He took time to listen and never made me feel like he had to rush me out the door to make a quota of appointments each day. His sense of humor and kind bedside manner is already greatly missed.
Amazing physician! I have suffered from Migraine for years and he actually listened and made a difference!
