They 'claim' to offer "dual diagnosis" which is WHY my son went there, BUT he did NOT recieve the mental help for his dual diagnosis‼️ We were STRONGLY ADVISED by previous Pyschs, that he NEEDED to get his mental part fixed BEFORE he could go to any more addiction rehabs. Although we were ASSURED by the intake tech that he WOULD, they LIED. Thank God there is a really nice treatment center for mental health. Beautiful swimming pool for therapeutic enjoyment. They care for the patients and go above and beyond to give personal service with care. Food is catered by a professional company fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks juice coffee fruit. This review is for my time in Ambrosia Alcohol and substance disorder. I was at Singer Island center in Sept.-Oct 2021 after spending 11 days in JFK Medical Center for severe detox. I had nothing but an absolute positive experience with all staff and clinicians. A special debt of gratitude to Brenda, my psychologist and David Hargreaves, case manager.
