I just had a 4 level discectomy and fusion of C3 through C7 (scary) performed by Dr. Johans. When looking for a DR., I did extensive research and Dr. Johans name kept coming up. 3 Dr.s and 2 NP's all suggested Johan's. The search also provided feedback from the medical reps who spend time in the operating room with him, all suggesting that he is who they would use. Dr. JOHANS did an amazing job on my L5 herniated disk repair surgery. I highly recommend him. He met with me in person in office and before the surgery, patiently explaining everything in detail. His office staff was excellent and responsive with all my questions. His expertise in minimizing pain made it so I only used the hydrocodone a few times. I was amazed to feel so good so quickly after the surgery.

Dr. Johans is the best there is. I had a “Minute Man” surgery. Hoping this will prevent me from a rod in my back. Thanks to this amazing family of uniquely qualified surgeons and of course my awesome surgeon. I was in A LOT of pain everyday. Outpatient surgery at the cleanest surgical center with Dr. Johans. If you are told you are headed for a fusion, I ask you to get a second opinion. I did and I’m very happy and mobile!
