My husband’s surgeon, Dr. Timothy Johans, performed an extremely complex and delicate procedure where the stakes were very real. If done incorrectly, it could have resulted in paralysis or worse. I truly cannot say enough positive things about him. He is a straight shooter. Honest, direct, and transparent about the risks, expectations, and likely outcomes. My general physician said my MRI showed 5 herniated disc's in my lower back, and after 2.5 years of pain, I made an appointment with Dr. Johans. The office staff was friendly and professional and I was seen earlier than my scheduled time. Dr Johans performed surgery on my back. He was so kind and I felt like he truly wanted to help me. I was in so much pain I couldn't walk or sit or stand. I went in to see him in a wheelchair. It was so painful. He could see how much pain I was in and cared so much. He and his team got me in as fast as they could. Surgery went really well as expected. Now I am pain free!
