I had an diagnosed condition that caused the pain in my foot, and my podiatrist referred me for EMG test. Neuromuscular Diagnostics - Ravenswood has been excellent to work with. As a doctor who uses their services, I’ve been very impressed with their quick turnaround times, thorough reporting, and high-quality diagnostics, including EMG, NCS electrodiagnostics, and MSK ultrasound. Their team is easy to get a hold of, responsive, and professional. I would highly recommend their services to other providers and patients.
Dr Matt Johnson and his staff were very welcoming and I was instantly put at ease from reception through the procedure. The EMG is a test that uses needles and electric current, and yet I was very comfortable. Dr Johnson offered to give me a break anytime I needed it, however his technique was smooth and efficient, and I did not require a break because of it. Parking was easy and right outside the door. I'd go there again in a heartbeat!
Matthew took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answered all of my questions. When one test didn't show any issue, he recommended a follow up test that did. This made the whole process take less that three weeks from not knowing to knowing. I appreciate him so much for this, he even included a completed report for my records. Matt Johnson is exceptionally brilliant. He went above and beyond taking his time during my test. He explained everything in detail and very throughly. Kudos to him and all his future success. If you need an EMG in the Chicagoland area, YOU MUST come here. Not all neurologists and MDs can do these tests to the precision like Matt does.
