I worked in the medical field for over 30 years and have never dealt with an office this inept. I took my 32 year old autistic daughter to Dr. Benes for, memory problems, as she was highly rated in the memory field. We went for the test she recommended and found out that she has mild cognitive impairment. The neuropsycologist that diagnosed this said we needed to find out the reason. I do not get all the reviews saying the care and appts are easy to make. I must not be important to this practice. I pay for higher health insurance coverage so I can get the best care. And here I get ignored. My first appointment I was taken back over an hour later than my scheduled time. The doctor talked to me for a few minutes and I left not knowing much about what was going on. Thank you for giving me a second chance with my neurological conditions and not giving up on me , these doctors and nurses look at the scans , treatment when my former neurologist wasn’t treating my symptoms and you referred me to the Mayo Clinic after you had me take diagnostics to find out what was best for me . At ORMC the internal medicine doctor told us , agreed with your Mayo Clinic Referral this was the best option for me. I deserve a better quality of life and Maria Torres has given me the light to a health journey!
I could not recommend this place more. The front desk staff is amazing and they work with you and communicate constantly through the portal. The doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care.
