No curiosity to explain & deal with an issue with $800 incl medical tests to test what had been tested
Dr Purwa Joshi was very lovely and thorough in her examination. She was familiar with factors that were important to my obscure health problems (e.g. that carbs can exacerbate neuropathy) and she explained why it would be hard to get properly tested for small fiber neuropathy due to the lack of people who deal with it in Australia. I recommend her as I believe she is empathetic, professional, knowledgeable and not condescending or antagonistic like some other doctors.
Good neurologist Dr Michael Eller, but blatant and shameless price gouging: $495 for less than 10 minute migraine treatment, when average across Melbourne is $280 and Medicare rebate is $195. Outrageous.
Visited this practice and found Dr Laura Perju -Dumbrava and staff to be professional caring and extremely thorough. Asked an important question after hours and was given advice. Highly recommended.
I've lived with Epilepsy for over 20 years, and in that time I've never been able to find a neurologist who truly cared about me as an individual. This all changed when I started seeing Prof. Peter Hand at Neuro Network. I've seen him 3 or so times a year since 2022, and in that time I have never felt so listened to, and cared for.
