Dr. Dave has me in utter shock he is even allowed to continue in practice. Today was my first and last appointment with him. He told me that I wouldn’t get help on Medicaid and treated me like I was a pain medication seeker. He used a probe to do an EMG and I within 2 hours am bruising, swelling and having excruciatingly painful muscle spasms from him and the test. Dr Dave might be the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is dismissive and condescending. He does not believe Fibromyalgia is real. I went to him for years because my family thought it was brilliant. Instead my grandma’s brain was torn apart by multiple strokes and died in a nursing home with no idea who I was.
Have been a patient of Dr. Dave for several years. He has taken excellent care of me. His staff is also exceptional. They listen when other providers don’t.
Dr. Dave clearly wanted me in and out as fast as possible. I was misgendered by everyone my entire visit. He ignored my symptoms, told me to revisit my psychiatrist and blamed my anxiety. I do have anxiety, but it is well treated and managed. He also said fibromyalgia, which I have not been diagnosed with and cannot be diagnosed with since it is a diagnosis of exclusion and he didn't do any comprehensive testing to rule other diseases out!
