I am currently a patient of Dr Cooks and will be switching providers. Yes, the office looks like you stepped through a time portal back to 1984. It is old, dated, and very cluttered. Not that big of an issue, I could look past all that for a good provider. Dr. Cook is very eccentric. He is more than happy to tell you stories about his long career and how he is the best neurologist that has ever existed. Honestly though, the reality is much different. Just okay neurology office. Like most other reviews say, Dr. Cook and his staff were very nice. The office is very cluttered, dated, and smelled very strongly of cigarettes. They do seem to work on paper charts and at check out there was a big stack of charts with patient names clearly visible.
Dr. Cook is a very thorough doctor that listens to his patients. No long wait times like at other neurologists offices. His staff is great too.
I'm not normally one to leave reviews but I felt this needed to be shared. From start to finish I wanted to leave the entire time. The staff was late to open for an 8:30am appointment. When they arrived, they claimed that didn't realize they had an 8:30am appointment even though they called to confirm last Friday (4 days before) & again the day before.
