My Dr requested my Appt in Oct of 24. They didn’t call me to schedule until Jan. We winter in Az so did not have appt until today. When I got there I find out I was not scheduled with a neurologist but a nurse practitioner. Basically it has been 6 months since my Drs request. Today nurse practitioner wants to order previous test results. When I checked out, I was told she wants to see me in 3 months (July). If you are in pain and want to see a neurologist I suggest you look elsewhere.
In a nutshell, Doctor C. Gomez ghosted me. I travelled an hour to Columbia, found a place to park and checked in ahead of schedule. After over an hour of waiting, we went to the front desk and they finally sent us back. We sat in the examination room, and when we hit the 2 hour mark, it was extremely evident that I was being blown off by Dr.Gonzalez. I showed up for my 2:15 appointment today a little early. I was supposed to follow up with a stent procedure that didn't work out last September. Also was supposed to start treating my symptoms. Instead Dr. Camilla Gomez decided to ignore me until I left two hours later. I have never had a physician just give up on me and blow me off. I have found the experience devastating, demoralizing and depressing. I realize that this review is just going to give an otherwise apathetic staff something to chuckle about.
They take so long when it comes to return people calls. Also the neurologist DR Kerrie do not know how to read charts . She was showing me my scan on the computer and she told me I had a stroke and then she saw I was upset and crying so she went and asked another doctor for his opinion he told her No I didn’t have a stroke I have cavernous malformations on my brain. So they need some retraining or something at this clinic
Never have to see this hospital or any of it's staff again! Leave and go to a better hospital if you can. These people will drug you, lie to you and spend years convincing you into dangerous procedures and surgeries. I was told for years that I needed brain surgery or I would die. They lied to me to make a large profit. That's what greed does. Turns these people into the monsters from our dreams. Find better hospitals because these people are dangerous
