I was completely normal before my surgery. Had surgery in November 2022 to repair a lumbar laminectomy. When I woke up I could not move my legs. I have permanent nerve damage to my feet, ankles, and legs and have been in physical therapy for 6 months. Will walk with a walker for the rest of my life. Will not be able to do many of the outdoor activities I have enjoyed for most of my life.
