Our stay here was lovely. The library suite is cozy, well decorated, and clean. The location is super close to the Appalachian trail and just a 25 minute walk/hike from Bear’s Den (beautiful sunset spot). Melissa treated us like we were at home and cooked a delicious breakfast. The blueberry scone and coconut banana bread was delicious. Will be coming back here.
We have been here three times. It is the greatest place. The little cottage is so cozy and comfortable. Melissa and Scott are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. During the summer the pool is wonderful. Anytime of year the hot tub is so lovely. Melissa makes such a wonderful and tasty breakfast as well.
A beautiful, relaxing nature retreat close to so much, yet feels like a world away. A fresh, thoughtful breakfast is included and the property, as well as the hosts, is terribly welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a little getaway, the space is perfect for two, and the pool is a beautiful highlight!
Fantastic and lovely experience. Perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary away from traffic, kids and work. It's extremely peaceful with wildlife all around. Access to a beautiful pool and hot tub was very nice and the breakfast in the morning was superb! The small cabin is just beautiful with the reclaimed wood floors, super comfortable bed, super duper dark bedroom with let me sleep in much longer than I usually do, and the spacious living room made this stay one of the most memorable stays anywhere, and we travel a lot!
