Nersel has been an excellent instructor. I took 5 portrait painting classes with her and she was able to help me achieve a great painting, and grow my skills as an artist through new techniques. She was also flexible to my learning style, and to the style of painting that I was hoping to achieve. Most of all, she's a fun person to learn with. Highly recommend - definitely better than attending large group classes with little hands on instruction.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?? Nersel is a magician. She has transformed my life by teaching me how to paint with oils (which is a dream of mine I've always had). She's the most amazing teacher, not only with technique but also in how she gives you the confidence you need to experiment and play on your own. Oil painting is also extremely therapeutic. It doesn't matter if you've never done it, she'll show you how to do everything. Just go and do it.
