10 years ago, I was rushed to Stamford Hospital, experiencing myocardial infarction. After taking some prelimary tests In the ER I passed out. Luckily Dr. Nero and staff were there to revive me at least 2 times. Dr. Nero placed 3 stents in my arteries, prescribed medications and see the doctor at least 3 times a year. Dr. Nero and his staff saved my life. There is no doubt about that. I am now 80 and living a full life. Thank you Dr. Nero.
I went for a follow up visit after a brief hospital stay....Dr. Nero was very thorough in trying to determine what caused the incident despite not having all the records from the hospital yet. He is very sincere and that is greatly appreciated.
Dr. Nero is extremely knowledgeable about Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection, an event that occurs primarily to women. He follows the research closely, and I trust him completely. My SCAD was 19 years ago. It was my lucky day when I found Dr. Nero 2 years ago.
When a Cardiac Doctor literally holds your life in his hands he has to have earned your ultimate trust. He has saved my husband's life more than once and kept him alive years beyond what his diagnosis would suggest. He is a curious humanist that would love to talk more to his patients than time allows. There is no visit to talk about. He is totally unconcerned about patient communication and listening to his patients observations about their bodies. He is a one trick pony. Implant every stent he can and then overprescribe medication.
Dr. Nero is probably the most conscientious, thoughtful, and detailed doctors I have ever been treated by. He takes the time to understand to address all concerns and questions. I have cardiac disease and he has already saved my life in four occasions. He is the benchmark that others should be measured.
Knowledgeable, understanding and patient; listens and help as much as he can and sometimes goes beyond to help.
