Disorganized. I faxed my initial paperwork to the office 3 days before my appointment, and she couldn't even get it from wherever it was in their system. So, I was expected to try to remember everything I wrote down in it. She seemed disinterested, sat back in her chair, cool demeanor, flat affect. She made a significant error in my medical records. After our appointment, she never called to offer any guidance or input, about some specialists' results. Suffice to say that I soon realized this was not the right doctor for me.
I have been seeing Covic for several years. She is very thorough and spends extra time with her patients. I don’t feel uncomfortable or rushed with her. Highly recommend.
I am not one to post issues, however, being in healthcare myself, I would NEVER treat or care for any resident/patient in this way. I was forced to find another doctor due to my doctor retiring, so I was given Dr. Covic. I met her ONE time and her answer to everything was "we will check bloodwork in 6 months" , ok. I love Dr. Covic and Rachel. Dr. Covic is so darned pleasant and patient. She has been very accommodating to me with this dreadful respiratory issue I have been enduring and she has been so helpful and patient even when I am sure at this time of year there are many patients with viruses she is handling. She is a great doctor and Rachel is just as pleasant, ALWAYS.
I was nervous to go back to the medical foundation after how I was treated by the nurse practitioner I used to see. However Dr. Covic couldn't have been better. She took the time to sit down and go through my meds and really make sure I'm on the best ones for me. She actually listened to my concerns on one of my meds due to the side effects I've been having and helped me decide what to do about it instead of just telling me what to do. I felt as though I had a say. I love this place!
