I am very particular with my doctors, and switched to Nerlande Joasil as my PCP after several friends recommended her. Glad I did. Been going to her 5+ years. She is thorough, listens, makes herself available, is attentive to my concerns, and follows up. I value her recommendations and trust her care. Highly recommend.
I had a finger infection and she prescribed antibiotics. I called after 5 days telling her the finger is worse. Instead of calling me back into the office right away and changing the prescription, she was condescending over the phone and said “finish your 10 days first, any other doctor would do the same”… of course, a few days later when her peer saw my finger, he immediately changed the antibiotic. Nerlande is wonderful. She is kind, caring and excellent at what she does - which is giving first rate care to her patients. I feel very lucky to have her.
Very thorough and kind. The staff was amazingly helpful. Ana, Pilar and the front desk. Definitely recommend. They have a lab, do ekg, pap test. Nerlande and her staff treat you with care. She listens and gives great advice.
