After discussing this with the people who run the event center and how to deal with the issue in order to make the restroom more accessible. I’m writing this review in regards to accessibility for the disabled. The entrance into the house that is the main building of the space is accessible. Inside you can move fairly freely throughout the building with the exception of the kitchen which is only accessible by steps so if you’re in a wheelchair you can’t get in there. The Neptune event space was perfect for our family celebration. We had about 60 people, including kids, with our event mostly outside. We used the main indoor gallery space to cut cake and the caterers worked out of the kitchen and bar area. Both Pilar and Chris were fantastic to work with to organize venue needs. We highly recommend this space for a lovely, indoor/outdoor venue that feels truly like Santa Fe.
My son and his bride selected Neptune because of its location, historical Santa Fe feel, and the intimate, laid back atmosphere it was to provide for their rehearsal dinner. Not only did Pilar (proprietor) explore various ideas for how best to utilize the space, she also provided recommendations for catering and transportation (which we used). The event was exactly as we had hoped! The space was perfect with plenty of room to accommodate a wedding rehearsal while other guests mingled without feeling crowded. The tent provide... read more
