This was a new patient visit, but I never met the doctor. The NP was nice, but formulaic and my situation was not very serious, but I was expecting to actually meet with the physician and was not told in advance that I would only see the NP. The receptionist was fine, but not very welcoming or friendly. When a patient is seeing someone for kidney issues, or any health issue for that matter, they want to be seen and regarded as a fellow human being, not just another billable appointment.
Dr. Reza Zonozi is a FANTASTIC nephrologist! He has been seeing my wife for a few years now. He's incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and accessible. My wife and I both highly recommend him!
I love Dr Shumburo. He was my specialist during my 4 day stay at Inova Alexandria. I’ve since secured him as my specialist. The only issue I have is that Dr S has a large amount of patients, therefore my time at my appointment felt rushed — I fully understand however. Good doctors are hard to find
I have a time sensitive issue and I have been trying to reach this office for the last week. Not one time has a call or text been returned! This is so unacceptable and it’s pertaining to my career. I’m so sad I chose this practice. The doctors are actually amazing, the staff however, please don’t hold your breath!!
Dr. Zonozi has been amazing with my dad both in the hospital and afterwards in outpatient follow-up
