Most of the staff are not empathetic at all and truly shouldn’t be working in Mental Health. They treated my friend with so much disrespect and ended up turning her away, handing us information about headspace and telling her “you can go now.” Later that night she was rushed to hospital in an ambulance so safe to say they didn’t do a very good assessment!! Go somewhere else if you or a loved one is looking for support because the chances of getting it there are low.

I was confined for a couple days, the staff are kinda hostile and robotic. Coming from working (10yrs) within the healthcare industry myself, I understand the challenges and difficulties that come with the job. Compassion should remain a core component of the provision of care- most of all in the mental health sector.
