I was confined for a couple days, the staff are kinda hostile and robotic. Coming from working (10yrs) within the healthcare industry myself, I understand the challenges and difficulties that come with the job. Compassion should remain a core component of the provision of care- most of all in the mental health sector. They treated me like garbage.I have been badly depressed and told me what do you want us to do about it.
Horrible experience. They lost my girlfriend's wallet and all her clothes, which were meant to make her stay easier. They lied about when she would be seen by doctors and lied about giving her a bag I brought after they lost her first bag. It took two and a half weeks for her to be given her bag with clothes. Overall, the staff were horrible and didn’t even check my bags properly—I could have brought whatever I wanted into the mental health facility. The staffing and management were really bad. The Pecc unit staff were great and helpful very compassionate. Just the waiting time for people to be transferred is the biggest problem.
