I have lived in the Nepean area for most of my life and unfortunately I have witnessed the decline of this once great hospital to 3rd world standards. All the renovations costing millions but that's where it ends. My daughter was rushed via ambulance to ED this Wednesday afternoon, 7 weeks after giving birth, with agonising stomach pain and unable to breathe properly. I had an ankle break while hiking in the Blue Mountains, and unfortunately, this hospital was the closest one to me. Upon arrival around 5 pm, employees were on their phones and I was just sitting in a cart waiting to talk to someone for a long time. I was finally acknowledged, and brought to a room where someone put a plaster cast on me. They told me I would likely need an orthopedic operation the next day, but I was given no further details. So grateful to the professional caring attention of the staff both in emergency and surgical ward. To be sure, the wait times can be frustrating but in terms of the commitment, dedication and thorough caring attention when I was very unwell I express my gratitude and healthy recovery.

I had very bad and frustrating experience with this accounting team. I had been waiting for my tax invoice since many months first they told me I will receive it in December which was already too long. After that., they told me to wait until January. But now they don’t know how much time we will take. I am unable to claim my money.

I pondered if this should be posted. Waited if it was worth it. It is. If it can go any lower I would however, some of the courteous staff should not have this reflected upon them. It sucks you are the local emergency centre because you make your colleagues look bad. There was serious professional misconduct there in certain stances, out of respect I waited outside the emergency because that place is for the ill and you all deserve your place in its entirety without outside presence, yet had I known what occurred with my fam... read more
