I was in search of noodles and heard they had good noodles so I stopped in today and was left horrified. What I witnessed today was not FDA approved and I doubt the Health Department would approve. It happened very fast because they knew what they did was wrong. I saw an animal being cut up on the floor towards the back room, I couldn’t recognize what animal but blood was everywhere and they shut the door on me as soon as I saw it so I hurried out the store. Great market! Very good selection of products including meats and seafood. Family business so they are very genuine here😃
I guess as a mom and pop store I can understand why they have Meijer and Great Value (Walmart) brands on their shelves, and even why they don't have any prices displayed.... But to have kimchi on the shelf at room temperature when it clearly says on the side "keep refrigerated" leaves me scratching my head whether they are ever visited by the health department. (Also it smells like something died in parts of the store)
