I hope someone is reading these poor reviews of Dr. Sarah Rippel and taking it seriously. It’s terrible as a parent that our ONLY option for pediatric specialities is Nemours when the care is so poor. My son had an appointment on Feb. 16 and we sat in the room waiting nearly two hours for the doctor to come in the room AFTER arriving early and being in the room ten minutes before our scheduled time. Dr Sara Rippel sounds like she will be nice but is very passive aggressive. I was hoping that we were going to have a great experience since she is the chief of the department but unfortunately it was not a great experience. She was very dismissive which made me feel too uncomfortable to ask all of the questions I wanted. She told us that we should have never been referred to her, and carried an attitude throughout the whole appointment making us feel like an inconvenience. Maybe she was having a a bad day? I'm calling GI department since last week to talk about some test results. The nurse who make note on the phone says they'll call me by the end of the day, but they haven't. I call everyday to either talk or scheduled an appointment because I saw on my chart that the results are not normal and my child is not feeling well, but they don't care.
