Helpful and friendly people The room we had was spotless and included an iron, ironing board and all we needed. The restaurant service was great, and so were our meals. If traffic noise annoys you, I suggest requesting a room at the rear of the premises, as the heavy trucks roll through in the early hours.
Came for dinner on the balcony. Our little dog was welcome and the food and service were terrific. You must try the Honey/chilli brussel sprouts!
Just had a fantastic meal at Nelson’s in Bridgetown. We have gone to Nelson’s for a meal regularly over the past couple of years and always enjoyed a lovely meal. However, the new chef and new menu has taken it to another level! The honey Brussel sprouts as a starter was sensational. The scotch was cooked beautifully and the butter sauce was out of this world. This is a great little motel. We stayed in the Hermitage room which looked exactly as pictured/described. Nice and clean. We booked last minute and the staff were very accommodating with allowing us to bring our baby.
We were very underwhelmed by the food. Quite a limited menu, which is fine if the food is very good but our slow cooked lamb with vegetables was served within 5 minutes of us ordering and was not heated properly and the lamb was tough. Not good enough for the $35.
