Nelson’s Meat + Fish is easily one of my favorite spots in the Valley. Their $2 Oyster Thursdays are reason enough to stop in, but the Banh Mi sandwiches are fantastic too. And if you’re cooking at home, do yourself a favor and grab a couple of their hanger steaks. I’ve bought hanger steak from a lot of places, and Nelson’s has the best I’ve found anywhere in the Valley. Great quality, great people, and the kind of neighborhood spot you want to support.
