I have been a pt for years at the pulmonology clinic. I was seen in urgent care on Saturday, Monday they told me to call pulmonology and check in to see if they wanted a follow up appointment. I was diagnosed with pnuemonia and strep throat. I have a condition call no IGA means you have no first line immunity. Since I had not been seen there for 13 months they refused to see me. I have been impressed with Jennifer Fejfar as my family doctor. She listens and I have felt heard and respected as a patient. She has been correct in treatment plans for addressing concerns I have and offering suggestions that have worked. Jennifer puts the patient first and spends the time necessary to provide great care! Took a looksie at my toes. Didn’t realize this was not the norm for toe issues of podiatrists in general. No return calls from staff, supervisors. Patient advocate department - rude, condescending.
After 2 years of complaints about needing a simple scan for flank pain being left with only that I needed to stop eating, I ended up in the back of an ambulance and after a 3 day stay at another hospital with an amazing doctor that listened. I found my kidney and ureters were full of stones. Due to negligence I almost died. If he doesn’t listen to you like he didn’t listen to me, get a new doctor immediately!!!! He doesn’t take females seriously.
I've been dealing with Unity Point's Robert Young Center for over a year now and the caseworker never calls back. Today she didn't show up for a meeting we made in advance. She called 20 minutes before she was supposed to be here. I didn't get the voicemail until 5 minutes until our meeting time. Completely useless. I cannot trust them anymore. This was the last straw.
I really miss him. Where did he go? He was my doctor forever and he just left. Does anyone know where he is?
Misdiagnosed Scarlet fever as HFM. Our son will never get back to how he was prior to the illness.
Had been using facility for over 10 years. They cannot attract and retaining competent and compassionate providers. Latest offering a nurse practitioner (jiron) misleads and lies about providing continuity of care and medications. If you're sincere about maintaining your health and quality of life avoid the facility and particularly this provider.
