Dr. Nelson has been my diabetic Doctor for over 8 yrs and she is outstanding. Her staff that handled lab work is the best. She always answers every question and takes the time to know her patients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a diabetic Doctor.
I was worried at first because I've had issues with my past endo ignoring my labs, my symptoms, me in general. But after meeting with Dr. Nelson she has been kind, knowledgable and helpful to me. My husband, who is a scientist, came with me for my first appointment and she was still very kind and spoke to him in his "scientist language". We've had some ups and downs (pregnancy, and loss of that pregnancy), but she's been completely on my team the entire time. Dr. Nelson is an outstanding physician...her assessment skills are outstanding....she can tolerate difficult patients giving them a rational explanation of what is going on...what the plan is and what the expected outcome will be.....she is truly trusted by me to care for my husband and I highly recommend her...
