My one story house plans were over engineered. She indicated wall structure for a 2 story house which costs more and caused the permitting process to stop. Additionally the pages were not stamped which is a requirement of the building dept. every page must be stamped. I would think the engineers would know the requirements of the building dept. This caused more delays and consequently more money. I would not recommend this company.
Mr. Mc Clure charges a lot of money to do his job. You might think you would get better service from paying so much. I did not find this to be true. I had a project engineered by Mr. Mc Clure and it was so over engineered that it seemed he didn't take the time to actually engineer it. Instead of using 4x4s he used 6x6s and this made the project cost much more than it needed to. It also made the project much harder to construct.
