The building could definitely be cleaned way more often. Floor is muddy and tabletops are full of puddles. Usually drive my cans to castlegar for this reason. This business could give more care to the environment and could be cleaned much more often.
You have no alternative for recycling and this place looks and feels like it. For a long time they didn't take milk containers even though we were paying deposits on them for years. 10 cents for huge glass bottles makes it absolutely not worth the hassle to recycle anything but cans, and even that is a massive chore not worth the refund. Some of that is government mismanagement, and some blame belongs on the business. But hey...you don't have a choice so enjoy the full socialism experience.
Plenty of people parked here. Polite customers. I am biased because I know some of the staff.
It's filthy. Does anyone ever hose off those carts. If you were disabled, the ramp & stairs are impossible
Collection of hazardous household materials is fundamental to keeping our environment clean. I was turned away because they are understaffed with no definite day provided when I could return. Rdck please provide adequate resources to meet this important community service to protect our beautiful environment.
