Collection of hazardous household materials is fundamental to keeping our environment clean. I was turned away because they are understaffed with no definite day provided when I could return. Rdck please provide adequate resources to meet this important community service to protect our beautiful environment.

I'm used to these guys chiselling a couple dollars every time. When I was there last Friday the employee tried to steal 5 bucks. I brought in 7 dollars worth of returns so only getting 2 dollars for it was such an apparent grift that I had to call it out. The manager, Gerald? was a complete dolt and started shouting that if I didn't like being stolen from I should go to Castlegar. I just brought in used car oil and two folks working on Jun 5th, didn't catch their names, were incredibly kind and flexible in helping me out. Didn't feel judged for my messy situation and they clearly went above and beyond their roles. Appreciated it greatly and hope they get some much deserved recognition from management.
