Too be honest we didn’t took the guided tour, but the staff at the reception and the gift shop were amazing, explained us about the place, with alot of humor, didn’t miss the snakes freezer . Amazing place, a great piece of history, like an time capsule. 10/10!
This is one of maybe two or three places in the ENTIRE USA where you can tour a historic mine so we were excited to go in. This is private property, so you have to check in at the general store before wandering. My son really got a kick out of all the old and custom cars, firetrucks, and busses on site, and also, aside from the mine the other grounds are interesting to explore.
