Mom was at Nelson Gables for over two years. The staff were not just staff and caregivers, they really became friends to us and especially to Mother. They were able to see and bring out the aspects of her personality, which was especially critical to her during the pandemic closures. It was always difficult for Mother to reach out and make friends, but they reached out to her and gave her the friendships she needed during her time there. At the end, the addition of Hospice care gave us and her the support we all needed.
Great staff who genuinely care for their residents. My grandmother has been quite happy here, for nearly 2 years now.
The care, staff and facility is good but the food could use improvement. They don't have any options for special dietary needs.
Relatives of mine have been very well taken care of.
