Dr Nelson is exceptionally skilled, engaged, communicative, patient, thorough – everything a person could want from a doctor and surgeon. I had bilateral carpel tunnel surgery and he took excellent care from start to finish.
Dr. Nelson and his office administrator Stacy took me back in time to when Dr's really cared about you and made house calls. I was referred to Dr. Nelson by Urgent Care. I called and Stacy got me in to see Dr. Nelson that day. Dr. Nelson was a pro's pro and reminded me of the Dr's from my childhood. He was on time, consulted with me in his office, explained what needed to be done via a drawing and completed the procedure with success. I've had to go to Dr. Nelson a few times now and I think he's great. I feel like he's to the point and keeps things pretty transparent, which I appreciate. He's got a knack for explaining things clearly, verbally and with his drawings. He definitely seems to know his stuff and I've had good outcomes with the treatments he's provided me. Plus, he's good for a few interesting conversations during your visits.
Dr. Nelson performed successful carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands. He always takes the time to explain his procedures thoroughly. He also knows how to draw very well.
Dr Nelson is knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled. My fairly tricky finger injury is well on its way towards healing.He's also a quirky, witty man with broad ranging interests, which makes it fun to dialogue with him in his office. In an age of corporate medicine, with 800 numbers and phone trees it's brilliant to be able to call your doctor and have a human being (Stacie) answer the phone. You can even text him on weekends if necessary. This is how medicine used to be.
