I found Dr Nelson when I needed a second opinion on a finger fracture because I was hesitant about the initial surgeons recommended surgery. Although he didn’t take my Insurance, he made it financially affordable to work with him, clearly explained all of my options if I didnt want surgery, and provided an old school experience of medical care. Saw Dr Nelson for a fractured thumb injured in a bike accident. He was very helpful explaining and showing me in detail what had happened. He spent lots of time with me and obviously cares a lot about his patients. He explained why splinting was a better choice than surgery for me, which I appreciated.
10/10 small practice, just doctor and secretary and they put so much care into their patients along with expertise work. I would recommend Stacy and Dr. Nelson to anyone with a hand up to the elbow need!
Dr Nelson is exceptionally skilled, engaged, communicative, patient, thorough – everything a person could want from a doctor and surgeon. I had bilateral carpel tunnel surgery and he took excellent care from start to finish.
Dr. Nelson and his office administrator Stacy took me back in time to when Dr's really cared about you and made house calls. I was referred to Dr. Nelson by Urgent Care. I called and Stacy got me in to see Dr. Nelson that day. Dr. Nelson was a pro's pro and reminded me of the Dr's from my childhood. He was on time, consulted with me in his office, explained what needed to be done via a drawing and completed the procedure with success.
