When I called the clinic, concerned about a sudden change in my dog's health, the receptionist was very attentive and supportive. She was able to adjust the schedule to accommodate an emergency appointment. The vet (Emma) was very thorough and professional. I appreciate that she was patient with me, taking time to address all my concerns, explaining treatment options, and showing kindness and compassion.
I can’t say enough positive things about all the vets and support staff in this office. They approach every situation with kindness and compassion. They treat the animal and provide a variety of options and are transparent around costs. I’ve never felt so supported by a clinic and their whole team.
I can't explain in a short post the lengths this animal hospital has gone for me, but they are the most genuinely caring vet I have gone to. They have, on multiple occasions, got me in for emergencys last minute, have been very available after said emergencys, they listen, are very informative. I know that sounds exactly how all vets should be, but unfortunately in this area I have found it's mostly the opposite. I'm incredibly grateful for these people and they have been there fully everytime I've needed them.
My 6 month old kitten suffered a severe concussion. The ladies at the hospital have been absolutely amazing!! I even asked if they could rub his belly as he loved it before his injury. They said they were just loving him up and that they are happy to go rub his belly 💕 They truly understand that our pets are our family and they treat our pets as though they are theirs, with love, compassion and constant care. I appreciate all of you! Thank you for taking such amazing care of my Tiny Tank, Yarrow.
Our dog is not cool with strangers or vet trips but Nelson Animal Hospital always makes his visits as good as they could be! The staff, techs, and vets are all super kind, accommodating and understanding and help him get whatever help he needs in a way that causes him minimal stress. You can tell they really care about animals. We will always take our pets here!
