Student loan debt transferred to this servicer from MyGreatLakes. IDR is gone. Have attempted twice to set up auto debit but they never notify me that it is unaccepted (for no reason) and so every month I find out I "missed" a payment and owe double to catch up. But good news everyone! My grad student loan of $52k will be paid back in 45 years with current rates. Remember to say "Thank you" to a bailed out billionaire today!
My student loans got switched to this company from another. I have no clue as to why. Ever since they did this switch, problem after problem. I've been trying to log in to my account for months. Have contacted this company multiple ways. The college I attended even helped reach out to them. We finally were to the point of getting somewhere. I just calle Nelnet To ask for information & the reason why my loan was past due since i file a IDR plan. Jennifer & her supervisor where completly incompetent to explain this situation & why my loan was moved to other agency without sending an email, after that they send an email refering me to the federal agency. This companies do not care for the credit or the security of their loaners clearly they are there to earn the interest of the loans while they can. So Sad for the Department of Education of The US & the Nation.
Talked with Haley today about my repayment options. She worked with me through the whole process. I don't enjoy the prerecorded prompts because it's always easier to talk to a person for me. Speaking with Haley is a prime example of why I feel that way. Thank you
