OMG hands down to NellaStar Braiding Salon👏🏾👏🏾 This was my 1st time going here and let me just say the owner Nella was caring, kind and welcoming. Not to mention the staff was courteous, friendly and respectful. This establishment was well kept up and was filled with great conversations and laughter while watching movies. While I am happy with the results of my hair, I am not impressed with their performance and communication. I usually never write reviews like this, but it’s been weighing on me and I want to let others know what to expect. I booked an appointment online on the website for 8am. I get a call 14 minutes before my appointment, while I am in my car driving because I live 20 minutes away. She asks if I am on my way and when I say yes she says can you come at 8:30 or 9 instead? They've done my hair twice so far and it's been so gorgeous! They are very fast, near and efficient! They are accommodating because they let me watch shows on their tv, let me have water, and have bathroom breaks. They also didn't mind that I brought along my boyfriend which was very nice to have company. They used hair they had at the salon when I accidentally bought the wrong type and even had the same color! I was very happy. They are also very nice and make me feel gorgeous when I am finished.
