Dr.Nel is incredibly thorough and super accommodating and helpful. His staff are also easy and quick to communicate with!
Great specialist and very easy to talk to
One day, you will grow old, and then you will understand what it is like to be frightened and in pain. Maybe your mind will begin to leave you, and maybe, when you realize that no one is listening, that no one understands or even cares to try, you will think of me, or any of the other unfortunate people who came to you in their time of need.
I am very fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Nel ever since moving to Comox. He came highly recommended by my previous doctor in Vancouver. He is very knowlegeable and takes the time to explain my condition and treatment options in everyday layperson terms. He checks in with me regularly to ensure my medications are working correctly and my health is good. His office support staff are responsive and helpful.
My partner has been treated by Dr. Nel. Though so many times when you are told to call or email to book appointments, you call and no one picks up, you leave voicemail and they never ever return their calls. Email also no response. So frustrated we went to office many times during his hours of operation and the doors are locked. Worse service ever, especially when you travel from Nanaimo to Comox to get the service.
