We are traveling and needed our dog looked at due to the dog being lethargic and pooping blood. We were told to call somewhere else as they were not taking new patients. We weren't looking for a full time vet just someone compassionate enough to help our dog. We clearly didn't find it here. They were very quick to give us another vets number about 25 miles away. Thanks for the lack of caring!!!
I can't say enough about NEK Hospital. We followed Shantel when she started this practice because she saved our chihuahua Sam when he was very close to death. Sam is not one that likes other people but over the years he has came around and let's her treat him. We recently had to put our beagle Trooper down. Shantel has seen him since he was a puppy and when the time came, she was understanding of our wishes and compassionate.
