Dr Stone is the most thorough and conscientious cardiologist who we will miss when he retires this year.
In the midst of the industrial size Northwestern Hospital Complex, Dr. Stone approaches and treats patients with the attention, skill and interest rarely seen today. He is not only one of the leaders of cardiology today, but you can tell that he takes a significant interest in and responsibility for his patients. I completely trust myself to his care.
He’s a brilliant doctor who genuinely cares about his pstients.
Dr. Stone truly cares about his patients and their families. He remembers them, provides insightful analyses. Seems to be always followed by a team of admiring interns.
Neil Stone has been my cardiologist for about 10 years. I am very reactive to most LDL lowering meds. My previous cardiologist said, "You dont need a cardiologist. You need an undertaker." He was serious. Neil Stone said, "You are a challenge, but, I'll do everything I can for you." And, he has, for about 10 years now. Thanks, good doctor. You are a good man.
I am fortunate to have been a patient of Dr. Stone for the past 15 years. He was recommended to me in 2002 by the head of preventive cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a highly skilled physician who is extremely thorough. Like all great doctors he understands one must treat the patient as well as the disease. Dr. Stone, on behalf of all your patients past and present, thank you for such wonderful care.
Dr Stone could be the best physician that I have ever encountered. He is very thorough in every aspect of his examination procedure. I recommend Dr Stone for his expert knowledge and manner. My husband is very lucky to be in Dr. Stone's Cardiac care.
Dr. Stone called on a Saturday!! He was out of town when my husband had an emergency visit to ER and subsequent double stent placement. But he quickly followed through and placed us on his priority list, finding an opening in his busy schedule. I've watched his interactions w/ Interns who follow him like disciples. A brilliant man, he's also compassionate and kind.
