Came to The neighborhood clinic to see a doctor today because I'm having pain again and I was told that they don't have any doctors on site only only practitioners and I say you I don't self walk-ins anymore you don't have any openings for walking and I was asking her and she telling me that only appointment they will have will be on Monday and Monday will be too late it's not severe enough to go over and sit in the ER all day it's just to sit here in this area here to get taken care of and then I can go on. This morning, my husband had some irritation in his right eye, so we decided to have it checked out just in case it was something serious. From the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left, everyone was incredibly helpful and kind! Freeda checked us in, and she was so funny and friendly. From the moment I entered Freeda offered a warm welcome and smile. I was promptly seen by nurse Rebecca who took my vitals etc. As miserable as I was it was hard not to be kind to this amazing staff. I wish I could clone Dr. Troung. He explained everything so well and in a manner that anyone could understand using great analogies. I could talk to him for hours because he also had a great sense of humor. Do not go here unless it is truly an emergency and you have no other option. I came on a Sunday night because every nearby urgent care was closed. I had a severe UTI with visible blood in my urine and was in significant pain. Although the emergency department was not busy, I waited a long time to be seen. It was extremely cold, and I became so uncomfortable that I was pacing just to stay warm. Between the pain and the prolonged wait, my blood pressure became much higher than my normal.
