Neighborhood Barre™ is a unique workout that combines the elements of dance conditioning, pilates, and weight training to create what is commonly referred to as a “dancer’s physique.” The technique primarily uses small isometric movements to carve and sculpt the muscles of the arms, legs, seat, and abs. Each set of exercises is followed by a series of stretches to shape the muscles, making them long and lean.

I joined few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! All the instructors are great. Love the strength, barre50, and the new yoga/pilates style classes.
The classes and instructors are great, however if you’re looking for a place with good communication and reliable childcare, this isn’t the place for you. I had chosen to come here because of their childcare, but it’s full practically everyday and when I requested more information several times, I was met with no response, then promised info, and ultimately ghosted. The owner must not care about getting new clients, and it’s sad because truly the classes are great.
Neighborhood Barre has quickly become my favorite workout and studio. I moved to Charlotte from NJ/NYC a few years ago and had been struggling to find a studio that I really enjoyed. My husband and I moved nearby in 2023 where I stumbled upon NB and love it! There is something for everyone whether it be barre, HIIT, strength, stretching and combination classes. We sweat, laugh, and watch our bodies change and become stronger. Recommend for anyone that is looking for a workout that is full of mindful moments focusing on your own needs while working your butt off… not off but more like up and round😜
