Dr. Deshpande is one of the best OB-GYNs at Penn Medicine, Plainsboro. She performed my emergency C-section and carefully explained every step of the process, which gave me so much comfort during such a stressful time. Her bedside manner is exceptional—she is warm, compassionate, and truly cares for her patients. She even stayed late, along with Dr. Sengal, to perform my surgery and make sure my baby and I were safe. I am beyond grateful for her expertise and dedication.

I cannot put into words how truly amazing of a doctor and person Dr. Desponde is. I had the privilege of having her as my doctor throughout a higher risk pregnancy and from day one she researched and tackled all concerns that may arise, always one step ahead on how to keep me and baby safe throughout pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. Outstanding doctor and surgeon. Dr Deshpande is very professional. She is very competent. She listens and explains very well. I was very well informed before and after the surgery and very well prepared to what to expect. I followed her pre-surgery and after surgery instructions, my recovery was amazingly quick.
