This business is a rip-off and demands up front payment precisely because of that. When hired to appraise my apartment, the appraisal arrived more than two weeks late and used comparable properties from a neighborhood with much lower property values, making minimal adjustments to take that into account. Was told the real estate market has not seen across the board growth between 2018-2024 and challenged to come up with my own appraisal.
