Dr Chu, not only is the BEST endocrinologist but the warmest doctor you want by your side. She is a cheerleader. Follows up and asks about your family and life. Pinpoints how you can be better by giving you concrete examples and charting your progress.. Diabetes is very intense. Dr. Chu takes the stigma away from the disease and honors your fight against it positively. Her warmth and caring is unlike any doctor I have seen before.
I typically would not leave a review after just one office visit, but Dr. Chu is simply amazing thus far. I have been a loyal, dedicated patient to the Sharp Rees-Stealy Group since arriving in San Diego. I feel blessed to have Dr. Yarborough as my GP and now Dr. Chu as my Endocrinologist. I arrived early bc I do have a tendency to get lost after 13 years in San Diego. The commute to Grossmont was easy from my home in Mission Hills. Dr. Chu is the ultimate example of an excellent doctor. I have never felt so genuinely cared for. She is endlessly knowledgeable and it’s clear that she has a sincere passion for her work. She is never too busy to listen, address concerns, answer questions and find a solution. She’s sharp and aggressive in her treatment approach, yet kind and gentle in her demeanor. Not to mention, she has such a great sense of humor. Can’t say thank you enough for helping me navigate everything, Dr. Chu!
Been going to Dr Chu for over a decade. She is the absolute example of a terrific doctor. Aggressive in a caring way. Listens to her patients and makes excellent decisions in treatment methods. I highly recommend her practice
Dr Chu is my favorite-Excellent Doctor, she listens- her heart is open , she's light, compassionate , and gives great advices- great kind guidance to the right direction. It's nice to feel that this doctor is on my side . Skilled in patient service and so are her staffs. I'm thankful.
