Anthony was our server. He’s normally the bartender but was our server this afternoon. He was fantastic. He was friendly and gave us tons of information. Their clam chowder really was fantastic, completely beats Saltie Girl. (Their spice bag was on point too, and I just came back from Ireland having tried an “official” one there) Our meal was finished with complementary round of green tea/Peach schnapps/Jamison shots. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service truly stood out. From our hostest, to the manager, and the absolutely best server, Jay, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. We visited Ned’s our first day in Boston. Jay was our server and did an amazing job. Who gave us personal recommendations for activities in the city. We left feeling like we made a new friend! Service was awesome, and the food was amazing!
Stopped by for a drink in the evening and came back to try the chowder the next day. The lychee martini was delicious. The bowl of chowder was creamy, rich and had tons of meat in it. The flavor was good but just on the verge of being too salty. Overall a quality chowder.
