shitty service all year round can’t talk to a real representative only the stupid automatic one. can’t really report an outage. they don’t ever fix it well. lights go out when it’s “too hot” “too cold” and when it’s “raining/sprinkling”.
horrible hidden fees & pricing. horrible customer service. unfortunately this is the only electricity provider for my area. cannot wait to move.

NEC provides excellent electricity service. I appreciate their straightforward approach with no gimmicks, contracts, or confusing schemes. The customer service is also very friendly. Just a reminder that outages are handled by your local TDU (like CenterPoint or Oncor), as NEC is a Retail Electric Provider focused on billing. Highly recommend them for this area!
Easy set up, no contracts, best prices for the Houston area….it’s Centerpoint who is what makes electricity stink.
