Went to see Dr Hill for pain on my right side that I have had for months. First time seen a urologist that never asked for a urine sample! I told him about my pain and he said its because im sleeping on my right side! UNBELIEVABLE! now I have to wait afew more months to see another urologist! Still in pain!
How embarrassing, the front desk seemingly barley willing to help, while listening to every peep I may say, and the doctor who could barely look me in the eye, and the nurse who tried to death stare me out of the room. I thought Silent Hill was a video game.
After having a consultation with Dr. Christiansen at the recommendation of my PCP, both he and the administrator on staff assured me that a follow-up procedure would be considered an office visit and thus would be covered by my insurance. I agreed to procedure under this pretense, but UNMC billed me for the full amount. After three months and over four hours of phone calls with billing and patient services, I still haven't received a proper explanation of why this happened, nor are we any closer to a resolution. Dr. Davies has provided amazing care from surgery through follow-up. The tech, Brandon, was wonderful at putting us at ease by fully explaining what to expect. They both managed to be bright spots in a less than stellar ordeal.
