They only care about you when you're pregnant here. My postpartum appointment was a last priority to them, couldn't get me in until 11 weeks PP after a complicated birth. Absolutely ridiculous. Then when I was miscarrying, the nurse refused to see me. I was alone, crying, had so many questions and was refused to be seen. I’ve had some traumatic experiences with getting an IUD before I came here so to say I was anxious was an understatement. My experience here has changed all that. From the woman that checked me in to my nurse (Miriyah I believe was her name) and my doctor, Dr Burgard, made me feel like I mattered and supported me through the process.
UNMC itself is amazing. I went to get my IUD March 28th and these women helped me so much. They calmed my nerves and helped me through the procedure. The IUD has helped me so much so far. I will continue to come back. The staff and team are high quality.
My physical therapy sessions have been very helpful and successful. All the staff that I have encounter at the Center has been friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
