I was told (repeatedly) I don't need an appointment, to simply show up at the lab during working hours, and that I could not make an appointment. I was told my prescription for lab work lasted a year, or "at least 6 months". I was turned away the first time I tried to go as the Rx expired in less than 5 months, something the scheduler I was speaking to should have known or checked on when I triple checked i could "walk in". I have had great work done at this location. Whether I broke my finger, to having a procedure done on my eye lid, to my yearly injection in my back so I can walk. The staff is nice and friendly. It didn't matter if I had to change my schedule to seeing another provider.
Because of these reviews, I was a bit apprehensive to go here, but there was no need. Service was efficient and friendly even though they were very busy. I had to spend 3+ hours there (because of my particular tests) and witnessed them work efficiently and with smiles the entire time.
In and out in under 10 minutes. Great staff and friendly!
My very baseline standard/expectation from nurses at a lab are: cordial/kindness/ or compassion and of course, helpfulness. I was here for 30 seconds, treated very rudely because I didn't hold a paper copy in my hand for my orders (when my primary physician had in fact sent them before they opened the same morning). The 2 nurses at the receiving desk of the lab were snippy, harsh, uncollaborative, unhelpful and it turns out not doing their due diligence to do their job and search for orders for a patient before treating the ... read more
