Late February 2026...I called Nebraska City Utilities, at the urging of some friends. Lane & Hayden came to my house within minutes to check for a gas leak. They DID find two areas that had non urgent leaks. ***Off and on for two months, I thought I was smelling a dead mouse (that there was no trace of), I was surprised to find out the gas leak did not smell like gas*** A big thanks to my friends suggesting the call and a big thanks to the Utilities for coming right away and at no charge to check the gas lines in my home.

Horrible people work there and horrible worth ethic! It’s not like I have other options to get my power from I have to use them. But the woman! Horrible. Makes dealing with a problem so much worse when they have an attitude for no reason
