This place is awesome. It matches the non-pretentious vibe of Bardstown. If you want Ron Burgundy playing the yazz flute, there are plenty of fancy cocktail places around Kentucky for that. Nicole was a blast as our bartender and we’ll definitely be back next visit
Awesome bar, drinks, ambiance and set up. The big negative is their music. They play notorious b.i.g., mc hammer or 90s r&b in a historic bourbon bar lol. If they switched to music people want to listen to while drinking bourbon or whiskey drinks, your bar would be perfect.
Called ahead to make sure they were open, the guy on the phone told me they were open until 12 and I could come by. When I got here they were closed for a private event and wouldn’t let us in. Drove all the way here for no reason.
Absolutely the best cocktails and bourbon selection. We really enjoyed a black manhattan made with See the Elephant Amaro. We also tried some other drinks that were delicious. Nicole is the absolute best! Will be back! 10/10
