We took our high school kids out for a nice dinner and unfortunately had a disappointing experience from start to finish. Our whipped ricotta appetizer arrived without the honey drizzle described on the menu. When we mentioned it to the waitress, there was no apology — just “I can get it for you on the side.” We then tried ordering a half‑bottle of Pinot Noir and were told they were out. We have been to Neapoli many times.The food is always great, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. The prices are reasonable and it is a BYOB restaurant
We’ve spent 10 years seasonally in nearby Sea Bright, usually going to the same familiar Red Bank restaurants, on Broad St and 35. Noticing Neapoli on a Jersey Shore Restaurant Week list, we tried them. Our server Yana (sp?) was amazingly friendly and helpful and went out of her way to explain the menu and make us feel welcome. The food was good, especially the olive cake which we were told was made by the owner’s wife. We will definitely return regularly
