Went in because our dog was vomiting and regurgitating often. We had a referral. They told us it was gerds and prescribed meds, said call if we have questions/concerns. Some time later we received a call saying that actually our dog had a hernia, but see how the meds worked and give them a call. Perhaps they thought the hernia would go away by itself? You could not ask for better care! If your pet has something going on and your regular veterinarian can’t quite figure it out, this is the place to be. Your pet will get a team of people who ask questions, have ideas, and are interested in the best outcome for you. It is not cheap- but for someone who has exhausted other alternatives, the vet school will help you! We have a giant breed senior dog with a plethora of issues. The internal medicine department has been truly helpful in every way with Disney's Cushing disease maintenance. Dr. Gaier has been very attentive and caring with Disney! The front desk staff have been empathetic and welcoming!
